Paynes & Borthwick (P&B) Wharves, London

Lane Castle and JER Partners are developing and regenerating Deptford's riverside area with the intention of re-uniting the community with its historic waterfront.

The Paynes & Borthwick (P&B) Wharves development will create new homes and offices and provide local people with renewed access to landscaped, revitalised open spaces overlooking the Thames.

There will also be a particular emphasis on creative and cultural initiatives.

257 apartments will be created in 8 blocks, a high proportion of which will have views across the River Thames. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom duplex apartments will be available with the benefit of private garden areas and 180 secure underground car parking spaces.

Commercial units will be available to creative industries in the area, a public arts programme will integrate artwork into the buildings and public spaces and, during the development, around 11,000 square feet of internal space will be available for events, shows, performances and presentation facilities for local and visiting arts organisations.

Hotel developments, Midlands

Lane Castle is managing the development of 2 new hotels on behalf of specialist hotel operator, Morethanhotels Ltd. Both hotels, Staybridge Suites (Intercontinental Hotels) and Hampton by Hilton, are new brands to the UK. These new additions to Morethanhotels will take the number of rooms which it currently operates to around 1600 within a portfolio from Southampton to Newcastle and the West Country to East Anglia.
